Every Saturday from 9/10 at 14:00 to 19.00 until November 21st 2026, we MEET AND BUILD - renovate the barge and install light installations on the barge so illutron is yet again a glowing artwork exhibition during the dark winter times that can be appreciated from the quay.
LIGHT & DARKNESS FESTIVAL DAY
On November 21st, 2026, we will have a final renovation day where we turn on all the installations and have an opening reception on the quay with friends of illutron, crew, family, etc.
INSTALLATION PRINCIPLES
The light installations should be as energy efficient as possible.
They need to survive with minimal technical support.
They can be appreciated from the quay without getting onto the barge.
The light installations should be live and preferably interactive.
The works are co-created.
Co-create with us: Call for builders, artists, interaction designers, electricians, welders & performers etc. to join us on Saturdays and bring the barge to life with art installations and renovation.
