Double Vision – 3D Light Projections & Music

17 October 2026 | Illutron, Copenhagen

Double Vision was an experimental outdoor event combining stereoscopic 3D projections, electronic music and the unique industrial setting of Illutron's floating art space.

Visual artist MichelWK transformed the exterior of Illutron into a large-scale 3D projection surface. Using red and cyan anaglyph imagery, the projections created an immersive visual experience in which abstract forms and moving structures appeared to extend beyond the ship's surface. Visitors could experience the effect through 3D glasses while enjoying music by SOLSTØV, a Danish DJ collective featuring Rós, Æsteban and Jokke.

Taking place on the quay at Refshaleøen, the event invited the public to experience the intersection of digital art, music and urban space in an informal, open-air setting.

The project reflects Illutron's ongoing exploration of experimental technologies, artistic collaboration and the transformation of unconventional spaces into shared cultural experiences.
