In the air on the dock and in the water. illutron wants you to join us for two weeks to explore the boundaries between the minds, bodies, spaces and technology.

illutron invites you to participate in our first Geek Summer Camp aboard the illutron barge. From 15. July to 4. August we’ll work in small groups to create fantastic interactive creations with a theme of “Remixing the Phyiscal” including technology, art, water, robots, fire, sound, light, steel and of course, humans!

We’ll then showcase the pieces made in an open house for KulturSYDhavn, the extension of Kulturhavn, where we’ll open up the barge to visitors from all over Copenhagen for three days.

We invite you to join us – as an interest group, art collective, individual, hackerspace, sound space, creative hive, or whatever you are, to bring your creativity, ideas, enthusiasm and energy to the illutron barge and work with others to bring your ideas to life.

We’ll work in 5 teams (or more, as needed) of up to 10 people in each team. Each team will have an illutron “Captain” who will both participate in the team and act as the guide to working aboard illutron. Teams will work together from 15. July to 4. August and will set up their projects from the 4-7 August as part of KulturSYDhavn in collaboration with Kulturhavn.dk.
