Wave speed from a stone impact

Trying to measure the speed of the ripples from a stone impacting water
The stills show details of impact at 1 second interval.
Using the black-yellow scale, an approximation of the speed of the ripples can be measured.
Each black-yellow block is 1 meter.
It looks like the ripples are moving at about 0.5 meters pr second in each of the two experiments.
Note how in the beginning there is only one wave propagating from the point of impact, but around 4 seconds after impact the wave front has divided into multiple waves.
I guess the wavefront are making some sort of oscilation as it moves on.
