Opening event Saturday 12th July 11pm to midnight Open events, installations and performances Fri. 18th, Sat. 19th, Thurs. 24th, Fri. 25th, Sat. 26th from 8 pm to midnight.

As part of the event Half Machine 08, artists from Half Machine and Illutron rebuild the interactive installation area “Explosion Village”, known from Roskilde Festival. on the dock of Baltikakaj.

The ship M/S Half Machine (now Illutron) played an major role in creating the installation areas and in the production of Half Machine 08 at Docken in Nordhavn.

Half Machine 08 was produced by Half Machine/Copenhagen Dream House and directed by artist and choreographer Pipaluk Supernova in collaboration with the artists.

About the event :

Experience live art installations and artists from many countries in an industrial area full of atmosphere. Where sunsets over Øresund ocean counts down to wild light art, explosion machines, submarine choreography and audience controlled drumming experiences amongst floating violinists, aerial dancers and dream cylinders.

On the beach bar “Docken” the campfires are lit and intertwined with live music, Dj’s and food served.

From 14th to 26th July the Half Machine artists are busy conveying a number of experiments into interactive art, dance, moving images and live music, open for the public to follow.

The Explosion Village with events and performances is open Fri. 18th, Sat. 19th, Thurs. 24th, Fri. 25th, Sat. 26th from 8 pm to midnight.
